Learning outcomes of course unit:
Expansion (fundamentals) of social competence, speaking, reading, writing and presentation skills in English (second foreign language). Expansion of sociocultural knowledge of economy, politics, culture and history, expansion of intercultural skills. Ability to successfully complete a study abroad programme. Ability to discuss and present specific economic topics in both foreign languages.

Modules SS1 and SS2
Course contents:
In-depth examination of Great Britain in terms of films, literature, documentation and newspaper articles, analysis of a case study, preparation of an individual case study from a current topic in economics, politics or culture related to England and implementation of the case study in a group.
