Learning outcomes of course unit:
Students should become familiar with the fundamental concepts and characteristics of establishing a company as a variation of professional autonomy. They will have knowledge of the stages of the follow-up process. They will be able to identify and discuss the factors of successful follow-up processes using practical examples.

Course contents:
Importance and definition of family businesses; strengths and weaknesses of family businesses; dynamics between families and businesses; positioning and strategy; management behaviour in family businesses; selected practical examples and reflection
