Learning outcomes of course unit:
Students who complete this course will have a basic knowledge of statistical methods and procedures to analyse (economic) data, a basic knowledge of database management and will master the most important normative, descriptive and prescriptive concepts of management-oriented decision-making and planning.
Course contents:
Fundamental concept of database organisation / technical concepts, data modelling, three schema approach, tables and relations, queries and query types, functional model - specifications. Creation of a small database project using a practical example with formulas, simple automisation procedures and reports.
