Students will understand how business activities are represented on the annual statement of accounts. They will become familiar with the tasks and methods of analysing the annual statement of accounts and will be able to apply this knowledge to practical problems.

Legal components of the annual statement of accounts according to commercial and tax law Fundamentals of proper accounting Accounting law, prohibitions, right to vote Balance sheet classification and balance sheet disclosure requirements Balancing and assessing assets, supplies, requirements, equity capital, provisions and liabilities, deferred charges Types of profit and loss Notes and management report Disclosure and review Principles of international accounting Principles of analysing the annual statement of accounts
