Learning outcomes of course unit:
Students who complete this course will have detailed knowledge of the tasks, methods and processes in staff functional and resource areas with an emphasis on human resource management, as well as a basic knowledge of the resource management process in the areas of procurement, production and logistics.

Course contents:
Teaching of the fundamentals of personnel economics and personnel management (development tasks in personnel economics, tasks and agencies in personnel work, personnel planning, determining personnel needs, positional influencing factors in personnel planning, personnel costs and figures, participation models, form of remuneration, giving remuneration, forms of personnel evaluation, personnel selection techniques, selected motivation and management theories, introduction and training, fluctuation costs, personnel development, working time models). Teaching the fundamentals of personnel management (management concepts and styles, procedures and methods of employee management, case studies for individual and team-oriented management behaviour)
