Learning outcomes of course unit:
Students will learn the importance of controlling in the context of operative and strategic management. They will become familiar with the specific methods and instruments of cost management and business management as part of controlling.

Modules WE1 and WE2
Course contents:
Introduction and functioning of risk management in businesses. Structure and distribution of risks. Avoiding, safeguarding against, eliminating and transferring risks. Emergency plans, legal requirements, risk assessment, risk checklists. Organisational and technical measures of risk management from catastrophe scenarios to corporate restructuring.
