Learning outcomes of course unit:
Students who complete this course will have a sound knowledge of interdisciplinary aspects of management from related scientific disciplines, such as psychology, law and economics.
Students who complete this course will have a sound knowledge of interdisciplinary aspects of management from related scientific disciplines, such as psychology, law and economics.
Course contents:
Teaching the structure and content of private law to the extent required for economists. The focus will be on general civil law. In addition, insight will be provided on the structure of special private law. An overview of all business forms used in Austria and sections of business law (the law of unfair competition, insolvency law, as well as an introduction to Internet law). Perception and knowledge of issues related to competition and their legal consequences. Principles of commercial law, esp. GmbH law, unlimited company, limited partnership law, non-commercial partnership law, EEIG. Organisation of business contracts. Principles of general commercial law (corporate law); principles of the law of obligation.
