Learning outcomes of course unit:
Students completing the course will have an overview of multimedia applications and their specific application possibilities. They will master the basic techniques of media production and will be able to plan and conduct a multimedia project. These students will be able to create their own small graphics projects and will have a basic understanding of print, radio, TV and web productions. They will be able to evaluate and assess agencies' works (graphic artists, radio and TV producers, Internet agencies) especially using the appropriate language

Course contents:
Fundamentals of media technology and human perception; design techniques and layout for printing and screens; fundamentals of typography, use of fonts; multimedia hardware, ink systems, graphic formats; digital photography and image processing. The course will be conducted using practical exercises and simple software.
