Learning outcomes of course unit:
Students completing the course will have an overview of multimedia applications and their specific application possibilities. They will master the basic techniques of media production and will be able to plan and conduct a multimedia project. These students will be able to create their own small graphics projects and will have a basic understanding of print, radio, TV and web productions. They will be able to evaluate and assess agencies' works (graphic artists, radio and TV producers, Internet agencies) especially using the appropriate language.

Course contents:
Fundamentals of audio and video multimedia applications for radio, Internet and TV productions. Creation of a screenplay and storyboard for film projects, recording technology, video formats, video clips, dubbing, DVD compilation, planning and carrying out video projects. Fundamentals of audio, audio formats, storage media, digitalisation of analogue sound sources and music processing. The course will be conducted using practical exercises and simple software.
