course contents:
As part of this lecture, students will be given a solid foundation in basic statistical concepts. With their knowledge, students will be able to evaluate and interpret statistical data.
The first part of this course deals with basic statistical concepts: empirical distributions, means, measures of dispersion, calculation of probability, random variable.
The second part of the course deals with approximations, hypothesis testing and regression analyses.
