In case you haven’t found the books or materials you are looking for through OPAC, there are OTHER CATALOGS available that you can use:
In the General Catalog of the Austrian Library Association you can search for materials in the holdings of over 75 scientific, university, and administrative libraries – including the Austrian National Library. The General Catalog contains about 7 million titles as well as information on 700,000 newspapers and periodicals.
The Karlsruhe Virtual Catalog is a meta search interface for more than 500 million books and periodicals in library and book trade catalogs around the globe (Australia, Europe, USA, Canada, Russia, etc.). The search terms you enter are forwarded to the selected catalogs, and the returned hits are displayed on a results page.
