The online database "Sage Journals Online" is a database of articles, which provides articles from journals and journal-like series (with commemorative meeting and conference proceedings) as well as book chapters. The database is multidisciplinary, online available and in full text. The wide range of subjects includes, among other things, archeology, ethnology, earth sciences, history, media and communication sciences, medicine, education, philosophy, political science, psychology, law, language and literature, sociology, technology and computer science, theology and religious studies and economics. The SAGE Publishing is one of the leading publishers in the field of science and brings out more than 700 journals, including nearly 300 from renowned companies and more than 800 books.

With the OPAC Library Catalog you can effectively search for books in the collection of the FH Kufstein’s scientific library. The library’s holdings encompass 14,000 works, about 100 journals and periodicals, as well as 20 newspaper subscriptions. There are 3 work stations that are reserved for doing literature searches with OPAC as well as 2 multimedia desks, which you can use to work with audiovisual materials in the library.
Group Study Room
The Library provides a group study room that is available during our opening times. The room is located on the second floor of the Library and you can use it for group work, without disturbing other students. The room is located in the upper rear part of the Library and is equipped with Internet access, a flip chart as well as 10 power sockets, 4 tables and 8 chairs. The room can be booked for a maximum of 3 hours per day by emailing

Returning borrowed books
When the library is closed, you may return any books you have borrowed to the Service Center (ground floor, open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm). Even when you are off campus, with the help of VPN tunneling it is possible to digitally access the research data bases for which the FH Kufstein has licenses. In order to obtain remote access, it is necessary to first log on to the server at the FH Kufstein. You will find detailed information in the menu to the left under “Data bases”.
