Each course lasts approx. 3 days. The doctoral colloquiums take place concomitantly. At the end of the second year and as an integral part of the program, doctoral candidates are required to take a Comprehensive Exam (6 credits).
Year 3:
The third year of the program is reserved for completing the dissertation. The doctoral colloquiums take place concomitantly. In a final step, after all obligations have been fulfilled and all credits have been completed, candidates are required to defend their dissertation on site at the University of Latvia in Riga.
