Michelangelo stands for ability and virtuosity
The platform Michelangelo at the FH Kufstein offers an innovative spectrum of continuing education courses. The courses are the perfect supplement to the regular academic degree programs, and students participate in them, for example, to prepare themselves for their study abroad period or for their profession. Participants are charged a nominal fee for the courses.
The Michelangelo program covers three educational areas:
Languages
The Michelangelo foreign language program comprises not only effective language trainings at three different levels but also valuable courses that focus on learning about various cultures. Additionally, intercultural evenings are currently being planned that will give students another great opportunity to strengthen their language competencies.
Social Skills
Michelangelo offers courses in a diverse set of areas to support students in preparing for their career, for example: coaching to perfect performance and competitiveness in the job interview; training in social competencies such as rhetoric and communication; presentation classes for conveying ideas professionally; training in mediation and conflict management for cultivating leadership skills.
University qualification exams
Michelangelo also offers preparation courses and university qualification exams. This is relevant for those students who start to study at the FH Kufstein without a school leaving certificate and are thus required to take the qualification exams within their first two semesters.
Michelangelo - Details regarding the program
All students, alumni and faculty members of the FH Kufstein are eligible to take part in the courses of the Michelangelo program. Participants are charged a reasonable fee for the course; however, it should be noted that because the FH Kufstein generously subsidizes the program, the cost to the individual participants is well below the standard prices on the continuing education market.
A special administrative team is responsible for the designing the Michelangelo program, advertising the courses, organizing the lecturers and, of course, tending to the participants. The courses available are announced at the beginning of each semester on the FH Kufstein website. For participants, it is important to note that the courses are organized in such a way that they do not conflict with the exam schedules in the regular study programs. A certificate is awarded to participants after successful completion of each course.
We are looking forward to welcoming you as a participant in our program!
