Zusammenfassung

Karsten Böhm, Jahrgang 1971, der bislang als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Betriebliche Informationssysteme des Instituts für Informatik an der Universität Leipzig tätig war, besetzt seit Januar 2006 die Forschungsprofessur für Wirtschaftsinformatik an der Fachhochschule Kufstein. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen im Bereich des IT-basierten Wissensmanagements, der semantischen Technologien und der Informationsextraktion.

EU-Projekt ALADDIN

The EU-funded project Aladdin aims to develop a mobile destination system that combines both the provision of a mobile incoming tour operator workspace and a mobile content and service management system for destinations. The Aladdin destination management system will provide incoming tour operators with an optimised and cost-efficient mobile workspace that supports their business processes and allows small companies to compete with larger incoming tour operators, while also allowing SMEs at the destination, such as local service and commercial companies, to offer their services and content in an attractive and easy accessible way to the potential customers.
EU-Projekt AMI-SME

AMI-SME is a EU-funded project that aims to structure and automate the identification, gathering and analysis of market information. It is designed to support the internationalisation process of small and medium-sized enterprises. 13 research and company partners from five European countries participate in the development of a methodological toolbox and an Internet search tool.
EU-Projekt KNOW-IT

The primary goal of the project is the support of the conceptual development of the innovation process in companies. It focuses on the new product development (NPD) as a core element of innovation in the company. The project should develop a methodology to support the primary goal and an IT-Tool that supports the methodology. The project is associated with Marie Curie Host Fellowships for the Transfer of Knowledge in the Industry-Academia Partnership Scheme (TOK-IAP). Participating organisations are the University of Warsaw (Poland), CiaoTech S.r.l. (Italy) and the FH-Kufstein (Austria).
