“99 Seconds from Kufstein” was a student project, conducted by three master students (Sports, Culture & Events Management), with the aim to promote the region of Kufstein and the FH Kufstein Tirol in the most authentic way possible.
As part of a video contest, participants – including students, lecturers, and employees of the FH Kufstein Tirol as well as selected locals – were invited to upload 99 seconds long videos to a Facebook contest page, showing their daily routine and lifestyle and thus telling why they love to live or study in Kufstein. Winning videos were selected based on the total number of “Likes” and the winners were ultimately recognized at a festive award ceremony to which all stakeholders of the project were invited.
The final outcome of the contest included the creation of a YouTube channel, containing the ten most popular videos in accordance to their Facebook Likes, in order to serve as promotion channel for Kufstein and the FH Kufstein.
