It is not a problem if school-leaving certificates are postponed. The solution to postponed school-leaving certificates is flexible admission appointments that can be taken advantage of from home.

School-leaving certificate postponed? No problem!

Currently schools are being closed and reopened, and final examinations are being rescheduled. The University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol reacted with more flexibility for admission appointments.

Because of the corona crisis, normal school routines have been postponed in Austria and in Germany. Dates for final examinations for school-leaving certificates have now been announced on short notice. Applications at higher education institutions are dependent on the dates for school-leaving certificate examinations – an important step for every student with a school-leaving certificate who wants to study at a university. The dates of online applications at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol are always based on the dates of the final examinations and are arranged in such a way that the online applications do not take place when the final examinations occur. Unfortunately, this year is different for understandable reasons.

To avoid having the online admission procedure at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol overlap with the school-leaving certificate examinations, alternative dates were made to take scheduling conflict pressure off of applicants.

Registration until May 17, 2020 (online application)
Written admission: May 27 or June 4
Oral admission: May 27/May 28 or June 4

An alternative date of June 4, 2020 is offered to all University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol applicants who are apprehensive that they may have a scheduling conflict because of their school-leaving certificate. Postponements can be made at bewerbung@fh-kufstein.ac.at. All applicants who are the known to the higher education institution and are affected by this have gotten a special letter, and all other new applicants can now choose a date during their online application.

The registration cutoff date of May 17, 2020 remains unchanged.

Admission procedure is 100% online

The admission procedure is processed 100% online so that the admission test or the admission interview can be done conveniently from home. This was changed and successfully tested at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol at the beginning of the corona crisis.
