Digital success of the first online open house
The preparations and commitment of the FH employees for the open house that was conducted online paid off: Those who were interested were glad to take advantage of the open house. “We are glad that we were so successful with our first virtual open house and were able to give a good overall impression of the study programs and the campus in the current situation to everyone who was interested in a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Compared to previous open house events, our number of visitors was much higher, and that is great,” University of Applied Sciences Professor, Dr. Thomas Madritsch, managing director of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol said with satisfaction.
Future online open house events are being planned
The results of the first online event showed that the format was well received and that there is a high demand for virtual open houses. In the future, it is also conceivable that the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol would offer upcoming open-house events in a combination of on-site events and direct live transmission as well as offering on-demand solutions. This would give people who are interested but who cannot come to the open house personally for scheduling reasons or because of a long distance the opportunity to find out information from home 24/7 about the 24 study programs and the FH building. “However, personal contact with our visitors is very important to us, which is why we will continue to hold the open house on campus in the future as soon as things settle down again,” said Christine Haage, BA, head of Corporate Communication & Marketing.
