FH Kufstein Tirol celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus+ programme

12.05.2017 | International
The Erasmus programme is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Throughout this time, the programme has been enriching lives of many people by helping them financially to take part in an academic stay abroad.

This helps not only to improve the chances of finding a job or developing fresh perspectives on sustainable development but also to learn or improve a foreign language. “The FH Kufstein Tirol sends more than 100 students each year to countries all over Europe. We were therefore also very happy to participate in celebrating 30 years of success of this programme on May, 10th 2017”, says Mag. Noureddine Rafili, Head of International Relations Office at the FH Kufstein Tirol.

With the help of Incoming Students the International Relations Office invited pupils from local schools in Kufstein to the FH Kufstein Tirol to introduce the Erasmus+ programme as well as the countries involved in it. The Incoming Students did a great job in presenting their countries and it was a wonderful opportunity for both groups – our Incomings as well as the pupils - to get to know each other’s culture even better and as all of the Incoming Students brought specialties from their home countries it was also a very tasty experience.
