• What do you remember most from your time at the FH Kufstein Tirol? What did you like most about your studies?

In my branch of the International Business Studies master’s program, we had students from all over the world. We shared our experiences and learned from each other. I appreciate having had the opportunity to meet so many interesting people. The friendship we built is my greatest asset. The lecturers are professional and knowledgeable. I had a very good time. The skills I got from the program have led me to the work that I love.

• How do you like your current work? What is special about your everyday work?

Currently, I'm working as the Country Manager-China at Sedo.com in Germany. Sedo is a subsidiary of United Internet, a $6B global Internet services company. I enjoy the international work environment at Sedo. My work has a lot to do with business development, sales, Go-to-market strategy for the Chinese market. The business is exciting and challenging. My clients include some of the world's top Internet companies such as Alibaba, Tencent, and Spotify.

• What skills and knowledge from your studies at the FH Kufstein Tirol are helpful for your current job?

The marketing, negotiation, and entrepreneurship courses have provided me a solid foundation to help me tackle the daily tasks at work. Economics provided me with a deeper understanding of how individuals, companies, and markets interact with each other. It is especially helpful when planning mid to long-term business strategies.
