course contents

This introduction to academic working methods is designed to show students the specific aspects, rules and main features of academia and academic writing. The focus is on developing students' ability to analyze texts using hermeneutics. Students are prepared to produce scientific seminar papers at a high level on their own. This preparation includes both guidance on how to use literature as well as discussions on the issue of quality in academic papers, focusing in particular on intellectual honesty and intersubjective comprehensibility.
