Learning outcomes of course unit

Graduates are able to: - apply their acquired knowledge in a work situation. - understand processes in the working environment. - solve problems and implement solutions in real-life projects (practical skills). - create and further develop arguments, solutions and strategies on their own (problem solving skills). In addition, students widen, further develop and successfully implement their knowledge about communication with superiors, members of staff and colleagues (social skills).

course contents

Students' theoretical knowledge will be complemented by practical activities and problem-solving in a real business environment. They must complete a minimum of 100 working hours as part of a full-time position at an external company. This work placement ensures that students are prepared for starting work after completing their studies and feel more confident doing so having already gathered experience in implementing their acquired knowledge. The aim is for them to become familiar with and understand procedures, workflows and situations in a working environment. Students receive support and advice as part of their work placement, enabling them discuss and reflect on problems and success stories.
