prerequisites and co-requisites

course contents

In order to prepare the students the best way possible for working life problems, students tackle practical tasks, preferably based on real contracts from businesses or public institutions. Students work on these tasks in groups and gain hands-on experience by following instructions given by the lecturer. In doing so, they make use of the knowledge they have already required and contrast it with the observations and experiences of a practice-based project. Students deepen and improve their subject-specific skills, while at the same time consolidating further skills such as social skills, risk management skills, budgeting skills and their ability to take economically responsible decisions. Based on a client briefing (given by the teacher or external partners such as associations and companies) students work on the presented projects on their own and only ask the lecturer for instructions if they need support. Students are responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, monitoring, evaluating and giving the final report. The role of the lecturer is focused on project coaching.
