Learning outcomes of course unit

Students acquire knowledge at a partner institution during their semester abroad. They consolidate subject-specific contents from the fields economy and management in one foreign language and thereby also broaden their knowledge of languages (specialist vocabulary).

Courses consolidate student’s knowledge in the following three areas:
1. Management (e.g. strategic management, competitive strategies, management of multinational corporations, organisational theory, corporate behaviour, corporate culture, knowledge management, management of innovations, business ethics, corpo-rate governance, managerial decision behaviour, HRM, leadership, quality, etc.)
2. Marketing / sales (e.g. advanced marketing management, consumer behaviour, customer service excellence, global marketing, sales management, sales techniques, etc.)
3. Accounting / finance / controlling / purchasing (e.g. financial management, portfo-lio management, options and futures, international finance, global buying, buying, e-procurement, etc.)
4. Law (e.g. patent law, product marking, product liability, etc.)
