Learning outcomes of course unit
Students are able to:
implement a project using professional project management skills.
realise projects systematically, to a high standard and on time.
identify the special roles within a project.
assess the importance of project communication on all levels (talks, communica-tion,
descriptions, presentations) and know how to behave accordingly.
make use of their professional expertise to solve specific problems.
prerequisites and co-requisites
Building on the experience gained through Practical Project I and the skills and knowledge acquired in other courses, students are given the opportunity to use this expertise in real projects, especially in the area project management and quality management. The aim is to strengthen and apply their know-how in order to solve problems. Real-life tasks related to the study course are presented and tackled within the framework of projects carried out in collaboration with companies or other institu-tions. Students plan, implement and evaluate the projects independently, also when building project teams and when implementing quality management, in order to promote their decision making skills and in order to make them aware of real conse-quences. Practical Project I or II have must deal with technical content.
