This course includes an introduction to human resource management, international human resource management, and cross cultural management, as well as an analysis of essential challenges in international management, an analysis of the various theoretical approaches of (international) human resource management, an introduction to management of expatriates with emphasis on recruitment, training, and development, reward and performance, and a critical evaluation of the effectiveness of international deployment.
