Learning outcomes of course unit
Students will become familiar with the presentation logic inherent in the different media and will be able to prepare their topics of concern in a manner appropriate to the respective medium. Students will be proficient in the use of various media (i.e. they will receive camera training, voice training, interview training, etc.).
prerequisites and co-requisites
Within the context of the course “Media Training” students will learn how to enter into professional cooperation with various audiovisual media. This course is highly practical and students will learn from real-life examples.
The course pays special attention to extending the media and communication knowledge that the students have already acquired. After a brief theoretical introduction into media logic and media production, communication psychology and NLP, students will complete a carefully developed training program. Besides training in writing for listeners and voice and speech training, students will acquire knowledge and skills in the areas of moderation, interviewing and camera work.
