Learning outcomes of course unit

Students will be able to define, plan, implement and evaluate projects of low complexity. The course aims to provide students with practical knowledge of planning and controlling related to the topics of resources and budget.

After having been introduced to a fundamental definition of the functions of project management within the context of marketing and communication projects, students will be prepared for practical application. Here, the tasks and responsibilities of the project leader and the most important project management tools and methods are discussed. The course covers the following content: definition of the concept of project, project types, performance planning, resource and cost planning, project organization, IT-based project documentation and project handbook.
