Learning outcomes of course unit

Upon completion of this course students will be able to:
- describe, analyse and critically question acquired real-estate and facility management methods and approaches in the host country.

course contents

As part of a foreign excursion students will take part in presentations, discussions, on-location-visits and company visits with managers living and working abroad. Part of the trip will be dedicated to cultural characteristics and their effects on real-estate development as well as the implementation of property services. The trip will be conducted as a block course with a programme that will be determined in advance. Ahead of the excursion, students will be prepared for the trip through workshops and will compile coursework in preparation for the topic areas offered in the location. During the excursion students will be required to compile a portfolio of subject-specific knowledge. The trip will be conducted and initiated by a full-time lecturer.
