Five SCEM students set up the short film festival including tasks like finding a venue, selecting films from the submissions, creating a corporate design and marketing strategy, control the finances and monitor the whole process. Aside from big, soulless cinemas, the cultural venue Arche Noe was chosen. The topic of the Festival is “Am Tellerrand - Einkehren oder Ausbrechen”. It describes a state whereby an individual or a collective is on the edge of deciding about “turning inward” or “breaking out”. This field of tension covers both emotional as well as geographical levels.
