During the Frankfurt Book Fair 2012 Emerald journal’s Editorial Team announced its nominated outstanding and highly commended papers from the previous 12 months.

The article entitled “A Management Framework for the Built Environment: BEM2/BEM3” published in Built Environment Project and Asset Management has been chosen as a Highly Commended Award Winner at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2012. The paper from Prof. (FH) Dr. Thomas Madritsch, University of Applied Sciences KufsteinTirol, and Prof. DI Matthias Ebinger, Pratt Institute New York, has been selected as one of the most impressive pieces of work the team has seen throughout 2011.

The researchers developed the worldwide published and recognized Built Environment management models BEM2 and BEM3 to support the Facility Management Profession.
