Since it was first launched, more than 150,000 students have contributed to U-Multirank’s ratings in its different subject areas. This year 1,497 higher education institutions from 99 countries were evaluated by U-Multirank – more than ever before.

U-Multirank’s ratings are based on information drawn from a range of different sources. On the one hand, the higher education institutions themselves provide facts and figures. On the other hand, students from the many different study programs are asked to contribute their opinions. There is also a bibliometric evaluation designed to analyze the university’s publication activity.

U-Multirank offers a unique opportunity to compare higher education institutions around the world and is aimed at students and parents as well as tutors, researchers and private companies. Its multi-perspective evaluation provides a good overview of higher education institutions and their performances in the respective categories.
