Learning outcomes of course unit
Students know how scientific reviews are performed. Furthermore, they know how to present results before a scientific community and are able to critically question gained scientific insights.
prerequisites and co-requisites
The course accompanies students in the conception and creation of their master thesis. Issues/Hypothesis and the outline of the master thesis are presented and discussed in the colloquium. Furthermore, the scientific methodology of the master thesis is debated and questioned. Students also receive instructions in regard to the formal structure of the master thesis.
