The goal of the course is for students to apply specialist managerial
knowledge in real-life collaborative
decision processes to gain an in-depth understanding of
the impact of managerial decisions on intra-corporate
processes, value-oriented business management
and in data-oriented controlling. This
will happen on the basis of an appropriate management-oriented
strategic corporate planning simulation. Simulated business management
includes the following areas:
team communication, models for strategic ways of thinking and
acting, developing a corporate strategy
and implementing it operatively, developing an internal and
external system of accounting, value-oriented controlling, investment decisions
in times of uncertainty, strategic portfolio management,
market and competition strategies.
