Learning outcomes of course unit

Upon completion of this course students will be able to:
- identify and explain the complex dependency and impact structures of stakeholders and space conditions in real-estate development
- recognize, analyze and classify building regulations
- explain and critically question methods of property valuation and economic calculations through examples
- list real-estate financing options and discuss and critically question solution strategies
- list economic aspects, discuss and critically question solution strategies.

- Stakeholders and general regulations in real-estate project development
- Application-oriented exercises in site analysis and construction law
- Application-oriented exercises in building structure, space efficiency and space optimization
- Construction cost estimation in the context of profitability analysis
- Profitability analysis in real-estate project development and application-oriented exercises in residual value methodology
- Involvement in a comprehensive practical task
- Selected special topics depending on the nature of the practical project
