Learning outcomes of course unit

Students know the innovative use of the media and its function within project processes. They master the management strategies in speaking, writing and interacting with all kind of media representatives.

course contents

Introduction of basic texts for dealing with the media (see the recommended reading list);
iconography and oral traditions;
training examples from the USA and Europe - discussion of different training approaches;
public speaking (radio, television, corporate videos etc.), presentations, welcoming speeches;
distribution of innovative ideas as competency-building in scientific education.
