Students should get clear understanding of the history and goals of European integration, especially in the financial and monetary areas.
Recent developments, structure and trends in the European financial markets and infrastructures will be thoroughly presented and discussed.
Thorough understanding of the reasons for smooth co-operation of the European financial intermediaries / institutions within Economic and Monetary Union will be acquired.
Important policies of financial regulation and supervision, of financial stability and of competition in financial sector within European Union will be discussed in detail.
