At the panel discussion in June, four speakers from the fields of sport, events and digital marketing took to the stage. The aim of the event is to bring experts and students together to network and make contacts for their future careers.
The speakers included local filmmaker, speaker and freeskier Matthias Haunholder, digital marketing expert Victoria Überreich-Gollhofer, Uli Dorner, CEO of event agency Dorner & Rass and sports manager Fabio Thaler from Kufstein Towers. A highlight of this year's event were the more than 70 prizes that were randomly raffled off to the participants during the evening. The winners were delighted to receive, among other things, guest list places for a Folkshilfe concert, tickets for a soccer match and a carafe from the Riedel glassworks.
INSIGHTS INTO PRACTICE AND CONTACTS IN THE INDUSTRY
The practical project once again confirms its positive influence on the students. “The feedback from the participants is encouraging and shows us that our approach of offering a practical insight into the event industry is exactly the right one. By giving students the opportunity to look behind the scenes, they can strengthen their career choices. Our mission is to inspire through authentic experiences and provide a clear path for future careers in the event industry,” says Project Manager Silvio Hartert.
And the speakers were also able to take a lot away from the evening. “The exchange with the students was particularly exciting for me, because I was also able to take a lot away with me for my work. A breath of fresh air is always good,” says Uli Dorner with a twinkle in his eye.
