Selina-Maria Schiller, project manager of GREENE 4.0, presented the B2GreenHub network, among other things, to the workshop participants.

In July, the second workshop in the Companies in Transition series took place in Kufstein as part of the INTERREG CE project GREENE 4.0. This time, the GREENE 4.0 team, speakers and participants addressed the topic of smart strategies for a sustainable future.

Following the successful first workshop at Raiffeisen Haus Oberndorf on May 23, 2024, the second part of the event series took place in the Innovation Room in Kufstein under the title Companies in Transition: Smart Strategies for a Sustainable Future.

As part of the INTERREG CE project GREENE 4.0, entrepreneurs from the districts of Kitzbühel, Kufstein and Bavaria were invited to learn about strategy development and the latest trends in the field of digitalization.

SOLUTIONS FOR COMPANIES

At a joint inspiring breakfast, representatives from the manufacturing industry, education, the financial sector and consulting firms exchanged views on the challenges in the areas of sustainability and digitalization. GREENE 4.0 addresses these challenges and attempts to offer solutions for companies.

Nicole Schreyer, Managing Director of Klima//Strategie, opened the event with insights into the topic of strategy and explained how strategic considerations can and must be integrated into everyday business life. Selina-Maria Schiller, MSc, Project Manager of GREENE 4.0, presented the project and the B2GreenHub network being created as part of the project. The B2GreenHub aims to facilitate the green and digital transformation of manufacturing companies. In the subsequent workshop, the participants subjected the B2GreenHub to a PESTEL analysis in order to evaluate the various dimensions (political, economic, social, technological, environmental and legal) and their influence on the content and usage of the platform.

After the workshop and the lively exchange, Prof. (FH) Dr. Christian Schmid presented current trends in digitalization in research and practice with a focus on artificial intelligence and additive manufacturing.

SUPPORT FOR STRATEGIES FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

The immediate feedback from the event was consistently positive, and participants expressed great interest in further workshops and in-depth discussions on these important topics. GREENE 4.0 and the B2GreenHub will continue to work to support companies in the region in implementing smart strategies for a sustainable future.
