Dates
The online complementary course English and exam are offered only in the summer semester.
In general, you have flexibility within the summer semester to work through the content at your own pace. However, we recommend following the suggested schedule to ensure you can sit for the exam.
The course for the complementary exam starts on 01.03.2025, on our WebLearn platform "Moodle."
DATES Complementary EXAMINATION
The complementary English exam must be successfully completed before the start of studies to establish the equivalency of foreign certificates in terms of content and requirements of an Austrian school-leaving exam, thereby fulfilling the admission requirements for a bachelor's program at FH Kufstein Tirol.
We strongly recommend taking the first exam date directly after the complementary course, as this allows for up to two additional retake opportunities before the start of studies if needed.
The substitute examinations will be held at the FH Kufstein Tirol on the following dates:
Date 1
Friday, September 19, 2025, 9:00 - 11 a.m.
Benefits
- Admission requirements for bachelor's degree programs
- Brush up your language skills (CEFR Level B2)
- Teaching practice-oriented content
Didactic Concept
In this course, you will work through 30 structured learning units independently using the Business Partner B2 textbook. The course includes six main units from the textbook, each divided into five subunits, which are accessible digitally via Moodle quizzes.
You may attempt the quizzes multiple times, with only the highest score recorded, and they must be completed in a set order to ensure logical progression. Each unit also provides chapter reviews and additional practice exercises on the My English Lab platform.
Target Group
This program provides customized training for:
-
Studieninteressierte
Prerequisites
- You are only entitled to participate in the course once payment has been received. You will receive the invoice digitally to your e-mail account at least 2 weeks before the start of the course.
Certificate
- For the preparatory course to count toward 40% of the final grade, it must be completed with an average score of at least 70%. To achieve this, it is important to follow the recommended course schedule. Composition of the final grade if the preparatory course is successfully completed (≥ 70%): 40% textbook units and assessments + 60% final exam (online via Moodle and MS Teams with video recording) A course grade is considered a pass with a minimum score of 60%.
- Students who complete the preparatory course with a score below 70% will have their final grade based solely on the final exam. This exam also includes an oral interview (both conducted online with video recording). Composition of the final grade in this case: 100% final exam, including the oral interview (online via Moodle and MS Teams with video recording) A course grade is considered a pass with a minimum score of 60%.
