EAIE EDUCATION CONFERENCE IN TOULOUSE, FRANCE

The 34th EAIE (European Association for International Education) conference and exhibition took place at the end of September under the theme En Route. The University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol was among the international education providers and used the platform for cooperation talks.

The EAIE is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and developing international higher education in Europe and beyond. As a platform for networking and exchanging ideas between education professionals, the organization holds an annual conference and exhibition. By participating, the FH Kufstein Tirol is underlining its commitment to promoting and strengthening the global education community.

EAIE 2024 PROMOTES INNOVATION AND COLLABORATION IN INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION

The theme of the 2024 EAIE conference in Toulouse was En Route. It was about the shared journey and commitment to creating a lasting and meaningful impact in the field of internationalization of education. The event brought together over 7,300 participants and more than 200 exhibitors, offering numerous networking opportunities and over 240 sessions and activities. The focus was on innovation and collaboration to actively shape the future of international higher education. 

KUFSTEIN TIROL UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES EXPANDS PARTNERSHIPS IN ASIA

During the four days of the exhibition, the IRO staff met with numerous colleagues from partner universities to maintain and strengthen existing partnerships. In addition, meetings were held with some potential new partners to find synergies. During the event, the IRO representatives attended the Austrian Reception, organized by the OeAD and Advantage Austria Paris, where they had the opportunity to personally invite the University of Nagoya to further expand their relations in Asia. In addition, the members of staff / employees were invited to a special highlight, Taiwan Night, by National Chi Nan University. It was a wonderful evening, marked by stimulating conversations about future and existing partnerships and hearty laughter. 

The University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol looks back on a successful participation at the EAIE in Toulouse. The fair offered numerous opportunities to make valuable new contacts, and it was particularly gratifying to meet many contacts from partner universities in person. The trip was a complete success, and the University of Applied Sciences plans to attend again next year.
