As part of the INTERREG CE research project GREENE 4.0, the barriers and promoters of green digital technologies are being investigated with the help of a user acceptance model. Following the successful co-creation camp at Kufstein University in November, the project has now been continued.
Prof. (FH) DDr. Mario Situm, MBA and Selina-Maria Schiller, MSc continued their work on the User Acceptance Model between January 14 and 16 in close cooperation with their colleagues from the University of Ljubljana and the University of Usti nad Labem as well as the other partners from the project. The co-creation camp in Ljubljana was the second of a total of three planned meetings. “We not only held intensive workshops, but also gathered valuable feedback from companies interested in the GREENE 4.0 project. These voices helped us to review the identified obstacles and support factors and to define the focus of our project more precisely,” said Selina-Maria Schiller. The future GREENE 4.0 platform will offer customized measures and methods to companies looking for digital and green solutions for their processes. They will also be networked with technology providers in order to strengthen Central European cooperation.
The third Co-Creation Camp will take place at the end of January in Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic, where the test version of the User Acceptance Model will be finalized. This model will then be tested by a total of 70 companies from seven different manufacturing sectors in the project regions. The findings will be incorporated into the further revision of the User Acceptance Model. The aim is to provide SMEs with the best possible support for the challenges they face in the course of the digital and green transformation.
