HAK Tamsweg: Insights into the real estate industry

The students of HAK Tamsweg, who are undergoing additional training as real estate agent assistants, gained valuable insights into the Facility Management & Real Estate Management degree program at Kufstein University.
The fourth grade students at HAK Tamsweg gained valuable insights into the Facility Management & Real Estate Management degree program during their visit to Kufstein University. An interesting enrichment of their additional training as real estate agent assistants.
After being welcomed in the auditorium, the students from the Tamsweg Commercial Academy in the Salzburg region were given an informative tour of the EFIM Lab - the laboratory for students on the Energy & Sustainability Management and Facility Management & Real Estate Management degree programs - where they were given a practical insight into the world of real estate valuation.
WORKSHOP REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY
The highlight for the visitors was the workshop on the topics of the real estate industry and investments in real estate. Led by Prof. (FH) Dr. David Koch and Prof. (FH) Emanuel Stocker, the students discussed the characteristics and value of real estate as well as current challenges and opportunities in the industries. The workshop provided an interactive platform for the exchange of knowledge and stimulated discussion. “The future of the real estate industry lies in the hands of those who recognize the trends today, understand the challenges and boldly seize the opportunities,” said Emanuel Stocker. “Training and skills / competencies are the keys to opening the doors to this dynamic industry.”
The participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas and make new contacts over lunch in the CAFe04 canteen. The HAK Tamsweg traveled by bus and the Kufstein University provided a generous travel allowance. This underlines the close cooperation between the two educational institutions and their joint mission to inspire young people for the real estate industry.
The Kufstein University offers various activities for schools as part of the fh4schools program. These include workshops, lectures and insights into the degree programs.
