At the open house, interested parties were able to find out about studying at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol directly on site.
Large crowds at the Open House: With 416 consultations and over 500 attendees at lectures, the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol set new standards. The Master Lounge offered personal insights, while the IRO provided international perspectives with information on studying abroad.
The FH Kufstein Tirol has rarely been so crowded: at the Open House on Saturday, the 29. November, 256 visitors flocked to the campus – and, together with the numerous consultations, set a new record of 416 conversations, including those in the popular Master Lounge. A total of 511 listeners attended the lectures, presentations, and taster lectures – a strong signal of the growing interest in the university's study programs.
A CAMPUS FULL OF ENERGY
Even before the official start, the auditorium was filled with curious faces: prospective students, parents, friends - they all wanted to get a taste of university life. It quickly became clear that the campus was buzzing, and the comprehensive program was extremely well received.
Visitors were able to experience technology up close at the booth for the bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering Management.
Whether it was academic advising, lab tours, campus tours, or the popular trial lectures, the Open House once again demonstrated how diverse and vibrant the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences in Tyrol is. As always, the presentations on studying at the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences in Tyrol were particularly popular, offering insights into the structure of the program, campus life, housing, and, of course, the integrated semester abroad.
STUDYING WORLDWIDE: THE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OFFICE IN FOCUS
The International Relations Office (IRO) was a key destination for many guests. With partnerships with over 250 international partner universities, studying abroad is firmly anchored in the curriculum – and the rush at the information stand was correspondingly large. Whether Madrid, Vietnam, Georgia, or more recently Hawaii and Uruguay: students can choose from a broad international network to broaden their horizons.
EXCLUSIVE MASTER LOUNGE: PERSONALIZED ADVICE FOR YOUR NEXT CAREER STEP
A highlight - especially for those already in the middle of their careers - was the Master Lounge, which was once again heavily used. Here, visitors receive individual advice from program directors in a quiet atmosphere, either directly on site or via MS Teams.
Among the visitors was Adnan Halkic, who was particularly pleased with the personal touch: “I really enjoyed the one-on-one conversation away from the hustle and bustle. You can listen in peace, ask questions, and get the information you really need. It was a great help in making my decision.”

Visitor
He is interested in the master's program in ERP Systems & Business Process Management, which fits in well with his professional background. The Master Lounge reinforced his choice: “I had already made up my mind before I went there, but the conversation confirmed my decision.”
FEEL WELCOME FROM THE VERY FIRST MOMENT
The importance of atmosphere and authentic advice is demonstrated by our conversation with Christina Spatzenegger, who is particularly interested in Marketing & Communication Management: “You immediately feel welcome here. Everyone is incredibly friendly and open - you get exactly the answers you need.”
She used the open house to get a first impression of the university, including a trial lecture and a campus tour. She particularly remembers how helpful the students were and how she was immediately immersed in campus life.
A PROGRAM FULL OF IMPRESSIONS
Of course, the popular labs were also a must-see - from the Makers Lab to the Automation Lab, where tech-savvy guests got a glimpse behind the scenes. The campus tours started every 20 minutes and offered impressive views all the way to the roof terrace with a view of the fortress. There were also ongoing counseling opportunities for prospective students interested in part-time study, which were also very popular.
CONCLUSION: AN OPEN HOUSE THAT LEAVES YOU WANTING MORE
The record number of conversations, the full lecture hall, and the consistently high level of interest show that the Open House has long since become a fixed point of reference for prospective students. The mix of personal advice, insights into teaching and research, international perspectives, and genuine campus proximity is convincing – once again. The next event will soon offer another opportunity to experience the FH Kufstein Tirol live.
