At the ceremony for the performance-based scholarships, over EUR 150,000 was awarded.
The awarding of the performance-based scholarships is one of the highlights of the year at the FH Kufstein Tirol, along with the graduation ceremony. On December 6, 2024, 120 students were honored for their outstanding academic achievements.
Shortly before Christmas, students were treated to a festive ceremony organized by the university management and held in the university's own ballroom: the presentation of the performance-based scholarships. This highlights the importance of commitment and discipline during studies.
With a total volume of €154,772.83, a strong signal of appreciation for excellent study results was set.
A SPECIAL MOMENT OF RECOGNITION
The ceremony kicked off with a speech by Prof. (FH) Dr. Mario Döller, rector of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol. Döller emphasized the importance of performance in a time when it is often questioned: “Performance can no longer be taken for granted. But innovation, performance and a strong economy are essential – especially here in Austria, where natural resources are lacking. You are the spearhead, and we are very proud of you.”
The awarding of the scholarships followed a varied procedure: after each speech by a director of studies, the scholarships were presented to the students of the respective program.
A strong sign of appreciation
The performance-based scholarships honor students with a grade point average better than 2.0. The top three students per degree program and study form each received 1,500 euros, while the fourth and fifth place were endowed with 950 euros. The FH Kufstein Tirol warmly congratulates all scholarship recipients and thanks them for their outstanding commitment.
