On May 23, 2024, a workshop took place in the Raiffeisen House Oberndorf. Companies from Kitzbühel and Kufstein learned about digitalization and sustainability, with a focus on smart and green solutions. The event provided a platform for the exchange of innovative ideas.
The workshop at Raiffeisen Haus Oberndorf was very enriching for the FH Kufstein Tirol, the Raiffeisenbank Kitzbühel - St. Johann, the Kitzbühel Innovation Network and the Kitzbühel and Kufstein Chamber of Commerce. As part of the INTERREG CE project GREENE 4.0, entrepreneurs from the districts of Kitzbühel and Kufstein were invited to learn about the opportunities and efficiency gains offered by digitalization and sustainability.
Numerous representatives from the manufacturing industry exchanged views on the challenges in the areas of sustainability and digitization over breakfast. GREENE 4.0 addresses these challenges and tries to offer solutions for companies.
INSIGHTS INTO PRACTICE
A joint workshop was held as part of a fascinating presentation by Georg Foidl, CEO of anewo GmbH, and Werner Zima, green finance expert at Raiffeisen Landesbank Tirol, to provide insights into practical applications. “The manufacturing industry in particular is facing numerous challenges,” said Christian Daxer, Chairmen of the Board of Raiffeisenbank Kitzbühel - St. Johann. “The workshop provided a platform for discussing these topics in detail and jointly developing solutions that are both efficient and sustainable.” The participants dealt intensively with practical solutions and best practices and shared their experiences. The event impressively demonstrated that combining digitalization and sustainability is not only possible, but also necessary to be successful in today's economy and in the future.
On July 16, 2024, the cooperation partners will continue their deliberations and then meet in Kufstein.
