area of ​​responsibility

  • Supporting the implementation of the Inno Wind project (small wind turbines in alpine regions) in collaboration with an external partner
  • Creation of simulation models for digital twins of small wind turbines, including data collection and evaluation, in close collaboration with project partners
  • Collaboration on other projects in the field of Alpine IoT (e.g. Smart Slope: intelligent IoT systems for ski slope monitoring)
  • Collaboration on the preparation of research proposals and publications
  • Analysis, evaluation and preparation of scientific data

This is a part-time position, starting at 20 hours per week, on a temporary basis.

qualification profile

  • Master students within the degree programs Smart Products & Solutions, Data Science & Intelligent Analytics, and Web Engineering & IT Solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of modelling, simulation, data science and machine learning
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Experience in writing grant applications is advantageous
  • Good written and spoken English and German
