Herzensmensch Tirol thanks volunteers

The seven students of the Herzensmensch Tirol practical project on the campus of Kufstein University.

Together with students from the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, the Kronen Zeitung Tirol honors volunteers. The team was therefore able to find special people of the heart from Tyrol and appreciate their voluntary commitment.

Together with Kronen Zeitung Tirol, seven students from the Sports, Culture & Event Management degree program at Kufstein University of Applied Sciences were able to find special people from Tyrol and appreciate their voluntary work at a gala event.

A sense of community and solidarity are of crucial importance to our society, which is why the Herzensmensch Tirol project aims to reward people who often work unseen in the background through their voluntary contributions to society. The variety of voluntary activities ranges from supporting disadvantaged groups and environmental protection initiatives to promoting cultural activities.

STUDENTS GET AN INSIGHT INTO PRACTICE

The practical project gives the students a special insight. Together with Marco Regensburger, Head of Marketing Tyrol at Kronen Zeitung, the group developed a complete project concept. Starting with the definition of the three different nomination categories, through the handling of participant management to suitable marketing measures and the grand finale, the gala event, the students had to think of everything and work it out carefully.

After a detailed discussion, the decision was made in favor of the three categories Individuals, Clubs and U25. Nominations could be submitted online or by post to the Krone Zeitung in Tirol until July 31, 2023. An advertising campaign by the Kronen Zeitung ensured appropriate distribution.

PLANNING OF THE GALA EVENT

The next step is to plan the evening event, which will take place in Innsbruck on November 3, 2023. In addition to numerous well-known guests, an expert jury will also be present to select the winners from the respective categories. While adhering to the given budget, the client of the practical project gives the students a great deal of freedom of choice when it comes to the choice of location and the further framework of the event.

“Internal coordination within the team is essential for smooth procedures and good organization. We know that we can rely on each other completely, no matter what the issue is - that makes the work much easier,” says Stefanie Hiesel, the team's project manager.
