The focus of the forum was on exchanging ideas with stakeholders from business, science and public administration. The team from the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol made valuable contacts and discussed with those present how the green and digital transformation in the industrial sector can be advanced.

On Thursday, November 21, 2024, the GREENE 4.0 team took part in the im:puls Forum 2024 – organized by Stellwerk 18 and Auerbräu – at the Ballhaus Rosenheim. This year's event was held under the motto Eco-Leadership – Entrepreneurial Opportunities in the Polycrisis and provided a platform for over 250 participants, including representatives from business, science and politics, to discuss current challenges and opportunities in the context of sustainability and digitization. The forum focused on practice-oriented solution approaches that can survive in an increasingly complex economic and ecological environment.

GREENE 4.0 AND B2GREENHUB: PAVING THE WAY FOR A SUSTAINABLE INDUSTRY

As one of 15 exhibitors, the GREENE 4.0 team from the Kufstein Tirol University of Applied Sciences presented the vision and progress of the project in the context of a comprehensive accompanying exhibition. The INTERREG CE project, which is being implemented together with international partners, aims to support companies in the manufacturing industry in Central Europe in their green and digital transformation.

The central challenge is to strike a balance between resource conservation, cost efficiency and technological innovation. GREENE 4.0 acts as an interface between research and practice by supporting companies in making their value chains more sustainable and profitably integrating digital technologies.

EXCHANGE AND INSPIRATION

One of the highlights of the forum was the keynote speech by Christian Berg, a renowned expert in sustainable business management. He gave the participants an inspiring insight into the opportunities that arise for companies when they think and act sustainably.

GREENE 4.0's stand attracted particular interest: the team not only presented theoretical approaches, but also described tangible results and best practice examples from the project work to date to interested parties. Those present were able to find out about specific solution approaches and make valuable contacts.
