The team behind the Digitalization.Tourism research project celebrates the completion of the project: Franziska Schradstetter (Achensee Tourism), Martin Tschoner (CEO Managing Director, Achensee Tourism), Christopher Kerschbaumer (Joobster GmbH), Alexandra Brunner-Sperdin (FH Kufstein Tirol), Emily Kirchlechner (FH Kufstein Tirol), Sandor Herramhof (Joobster GmbH), Bernhard Pichler (AMS), Mario Situm (FH Kufstein Tirol), Michaela Pedrazzani (AMS), Maria Wirtenberger (Achensee Tourismus) (f.l.t.r.).

The successful completion of the flagship project Digitalization.Tourism. marks the end of an 18-month collaboration between the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, Achensee Tourism, and joobster GmbH. The result is an innovative concept that digitally showcases the Achensee region as a place to live and work.

The project team can look back on 18 intensive and informative months following the successful completion of the Land Tirol flagship project Digitalization.Tourism. The aim was to position the Achensee region as an attractive place to work and live for skilled workers - with an innovative employer branding concept that deliberately showcases the location itself as part of the employer brand. At the heart of the approach are digital solutions in the areas of employer branding and recruiting.

DIGITAL VIDEO PRODUCTION AS THE CENTERPIECE

A key highlight of the project is the development of an AI-supported app for automated video production. This app enables companies to create professional employer branding videos in just a few steps. This gives potential employees authentic insights into everyday working life and the high quality of life around Lake Achensee.

OUR AIM WAS TO OFFER VALUE FOR THE TEST ORGANIZATIONS.

As part of the project, the test companies at Lake Achensee were able to build their own digital video library consisting of individually produced video clips that can be combined with footage from the Achensee Tourism Association as desired. This provides authentic and diverse insights with a strong regional focus. The finished short videos were published on the Job-Life Achensee platform and on social media.

Representatives from three of the 15 partner companies involved in the project at the closing meeting (f.l.t.r.): Diana Lichwa (planlicht GmbH), Kerstin Väth (Sporthotel Alpenrose Wellness Residenz), Melanie Hechenberger and Anna Schwaninger (both Atoll Achensee).

A decisive milestone was the integration of artificial intelligence into the app. Based on real video recordings on site, the AI generates automated video suggestions, which significantly reduces the amount of work involved and offers an efficient alternative to conventional editing programs. At the same time, manual editing remains possible at all times, ensuring that individual adjustments and creative design are still possible.

“We naturally wanted to offer the test companies added value. That's why we offered free training courses where participants could learn how to create high-quality employer branding videos using simple equipment and the app – quickly, easily, and without any prior knowledge,” says Emily Kirchlechner, MA, project assistant with a focus on project management at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol. A total of 15 test companies show that there is great interest in modern recruiting methods.

Participants conclude the project at a joint final meeting and draw up a successful summary.

The completion of the project also marks the launch of a new product with the working title Personal+, which enables companies of all sizes to create authentic employer branding videos easily, cost-effectively, and efficiently. This product will also be available in other regions and industries in the future to address challenges such as skills shortages and high turnover, particularly in the tourism sector.

Through close cooperation between regional institutions and companies, this flagship project strengthens the industries' long-term appeal and sets standards for innovative recruiting strategies.
